Key Responsibilities

Architecting Solutions:

• Design and implement scalable, reliable, and secure GCP-based solutions tailored to business needs.
• Lead end-to-end architecture design, including infrastructure, data pipelines, and application architecture.

Technical Leadership

• Provide guidance on GCP services, architecture patterns, and best practices to development and operations teams.
• Act as the primary technical advisor for cloud adoption strategies and migrations to GCP.

Project Execution

• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Ensure timely delivery of projects while maintaining high standards of quality and performance.

Team Collaboration

• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, DevOps, and business analysts, to deliver successful solutions.
• Mentor and upskill team members in GCP technologies and practices.

Optimization and Monitoring

• Identify opportunities for performance optimization, cost reduction, and system improvements on GCP.
• Establish monitoring and incident management strategies to ensure system reliability and security.

Stakeholder Communication

• Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders in clear, concise English.
• Prepare and present technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and reports.

Qualifications

Technical Skills

• Extensive experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, including Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions, and Pub/Sub.
• Proficiency in designing and deploying microservices architecture, containerized applications using Kubernetes, and serverless solutions.
• Strong knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Deployment Manager.
• Expertise in networking (e.g., VPC design, hybrid connectivity, load balancing) and security best practices.
• Hands-on experience with data pipelines and analytics tools (e.g., Dataflow, BigQuery, Cloud Data Fusion).
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, monitoring tools (e.g., Stackdriver, Prometheus), and automation.

Experience

• Minimum of 5+ years as a Solution Architect or similar role, with at least 3 years specializing in GCP.
• Proven track record of designing and implementing large-scale, high-performance systems.
• Experience with cloud migration projects or building cloud-native applications.
