The Asian Development Foundation and FPT Digital will collaborate to research and pilot innovative initiatives in agriculture. FPT Digital committed to have resource and technological support policies, working with the Asian Development Fund to make the Mekong sub-region a leading production area for green agricultural goods that are safe and friendly to the environment and climate.
The Asian Development Bank held a visit to FPT Digital’s headquarters in Hanoi on September 25. Both parties engaged in the sharing of information related to the ADB TA-9916 project.
Mr. Le Huy Hoang, Digital Transformation Consulting Director at FPT Digital, presented at the event about the state of digital transformation in Vietnam. Mr. Hoang stated that the application of technology helps compensate for the manpower shortage caused by the current trend of transitioning from manual labour to high-level labour.
From the ADB TA-9916 project, Mr. Shamal Mohamed – International Digital Transformation Consultant shared about the project’s orientations and activities from 2020 and orientation to 2025. Agricultural traceability system e-tracibility that help export fruit to the European market is one of the initiatives being supported by the Asian Development Bank.
The two parties agreed on the possibilities for cooperation in agricultural digital transformation, in which the Asian Development Bank and FPT Digital will explore agricultural innovation concepts and pilot feasibility innovaties. FPT Digital commits to establishing resource and technological support policies.
