As a Senior Business Analyst (Data & AI), you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between business vision and technical execution. You will be responsible for clarifying complex business problems, capturing and managing high-quality requirements, project scopes, backlogs, and explicit acceptance criteria. In this role, you will act as a proactive driver, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful and seamless delivery of strategic, high-impact Data & AI initiatives that deliver tangible business outcomes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Requirement & Scope Management:
- Lead requirement elicitation, structured analysis, and clarification sessions with business units.
- Define and manage project scope; author, refine, and maintain comprehensive user stories, product backlogs, and explicit acceptance criteria.
Technical Collaboration & Data Governance:
- Partner closely with Data Analysts (DA), Data Engineers (DE), and Data Scientists (DS) within Databricks / Lakehouse / Data Platform environments to ensure alignment between business needs and technical architecture.
Project Operations & Delivery:
- Support and facilitate squads in operating smoothly under Agile/Scrum/Kanban methodologies to ensure on-time delivery.
- Utilize Jira, Confluence, or equivalent tools effectively for tracking progress and ensuring rigorous project documentation.
- Plan, coordinate, and lead the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) process.
Stakeholder Management & Product Mindset:
- Engage, negotiate, and consult directly with high-level stakeholders (Heads/Leads) to align on strategic objectives.
- Act as a proactive driver with a strong product and data-driven mindset, ensuring all deliverables translate into tangible business outcomes.
- Note: This role demands high ownership and proactive leadership; it is strictly not suitable for profiles limited to note-taking or passive task-following.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Professional Experience:
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst in data platform, data warehouse, analytics, BI, AI/ML, or digital transformation projects.
Technical Knowledge:
- Good understanding of Databricks / Lakehouse / Data Platform ecosystems to collaborate effectively with technical teams.
- Mastery of requirement analysis, user story mapping, acceptance criteria definition, and UAT processes.
Skills & Mindsets:
- Demonstrated capability to interact with and manage expectations of senior stakeholders (Heads/Leads).
- Strong product-oriented, data-driven, and business outcome-focused mindset.
- Proficiency in Jira, Confluence, or equivalent project management collaboration tools.
- Capability to support and guide delivery squads operating under Agile/Scrum/Kanban frameworks.
