Senior AI Engineer

FPT Digital is seeking experienced Senior AI Engineers to lead the design and delivery of AI-powered solutions for enterprise digital transformation programs. This role requires strong hands-on AI expertise combined with technical leadership and collaboration with consulting and client teams. You will play a key role in transforming business problems into scalable AI architectures, ensuring production-grade deployment, and guiding junior engineers throughout the delivery lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of AI/ML solutions for complex, real-world business use cases
- Architect scalable AI systems covering data pipelines, model development, MLOps, deployment, and monitoring
- Collaborate closely with Consulting, Data, Cloud, and Engineering teams to ensure alignment between business objectives and technical solutions
- Review technical designs, code, and model performance to ensure quality, security, and scalability
- Mentor and coach Junior/Mid-level AI Engineers, providing technical guidance and code reviews
- Support pre-sales activities such as solution ideation, technical proposals, and client workshops when required. Prepare and present technical documentation, solution architectures, and knowledge-sharing materials for internal teams and clients
- Proactively propose new AI approaches, tools, and architectures to improve delivery efficiency and business impact
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in AI/ML, Data Science, or applied AI engineering
- Proficient in Python, with solid knowledge of frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn
- Hands-on experience with Generative AI, LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG architectures, or AI agents
- Familiarity with MLOps tools and practices (CI/CD for ML, model versioning, monitoring, retraining pipelines)
- Experience deploying AI solutions using cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience acting as technical lead or sub-project lead in AI or data projects
- Ability to plan, estimate, and manage AI-related tasks, timelines, and technical dependencies
