Senior AI Engineer

FPT Digital is seeking experienced Senior AI Engineers to lead the design and delivery of AI-powered solutions for enterprise digital transformation programs. This role requires strong hands-on AI expertise combined with technical leadership and collaboration with consulting and client teams. You will play a key role in transforming business problems into scalable AI architectures, ensuring production-grade deployment, and guiding junior engineers throughout the delivery lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of AI/ML solutions for complex, real-world business use cases
- Architect scalable AI systems covering data pipelines, model development, MLOps, deployment, and monitoring
- Collaborate closely with Consulting, Data, Cloud, and Engineering teams to ensure alignment between business objectives and technical solutions
- Review technical designs, code, and model performance to ensure quality, security, and scalability
- Mentor and coach Junior/Mid-level AI Engineers, providing technical guidance and code reviews
- Support pre-sales activities such as solution ideation, technical proposals, and client workshops when required. Prepare and present technical documentation, solution architectures, and knowledge-sharing materials for internal teams and clients
- Proactively propose new AI approaches, tools, and architectures to improve delivery efficiency and business impact
Qualifications
- Experience: 3–5 years of experience in developing AI solutions and AI Agents, with a strong preference for practical, real-world applications.
- AI Frameworks: Hands-on experience in deploying and optimizing solutions using Azure OpenAI/OpenAI API. Expertise in prompt engineering and context design for conversational AI.
- Backend Development: Proficient in Python and building backend services (APIs). Experience in integrating AI with chat channels (Web, Zalo OA, etc.) and enterprise systems.
- Knowledge Retrieval: Extensive experience with Vector Databases (FAISS, Pinecone, Weaviate, etc.) and RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) techniques for knowledge base systems.
- Agentic Workflows: Proven ability to implement tool calling, workflow orchestration, and complex business logic for multi-system integration.
- Cloud & DevOps: Experience with Azure/AWS deployment, performance optimization, LLM cost management, and data security standards.\
⭐ Nice-to-have:
- Experience in data crawling/scraping (BeautifulSoup, Playwright, Selenium, etc.).
- Knowledge of Data Analytics, Dashboards, or Business Intelligence (BI).
