The Thai Embassy wishes to promote collaboration with FPT Digital

Thailand Board of Investment and FPT Digital have exchanged information on investment and trade opportunities between Thai and Vietnamese businesses in the digital services sector. They also discussed development strategies and the potential to supplement Thailand’s high-quality technology workforce.

On March 4, 2024, Director of Consulting Vuong Quan Ngoc and representatives from FPT Digital met with Mr. Amnat Chulajata – Investment Counsellor and Director of Thailand Board of Investment at the Royal Thai Embassy in Hanoi, along with members of the delegation.

During the meeting, Mr. Amnat Chulajata expressed his gratitude for the warm reception from the leadership of FPT Digital. He introduced Thailand Board of Investment Office in Hanoi as a bridge between Vietnamese and Thai businesses, encouraging Thai companies to invest in Vietnam.

Mr. Amnat Chulajata expressed his desire to connect resources and leverage mutual strengths to boost the economies of both parties.

FPT Digital introduced its capabilities in implementing digital transformation and green transition projects for large enterprises and localities across the country. Counselor Amnat Chulajata showed particular interest in ESG and the value that FPT Digital can bring to businesses in Thailand.

The two parties also exchanged information on investment and trade opportunities between Thai and Vietnamese businesses in the digital services sector, as well as development strategies and the potential to enhance Thailand’s high-quality technology workforce.

FPT Digital has also committed to using its best resources to support Thai businesses that are already present or looking to invest in Vietnam, focusing on digital and green transitions with the goal of achieving Net Zero by 2050.

The meeting opened up potential opportunities for future collaboration between Thai businesses and FPT Digital.

Mr. Vuong Quan Ngoc further noted that FPT’s Bangkok office has been operating for over 10 years, with more than 50 staff serving major clients such as Unilever. Previously, FPT also collaborated on and implemented software solutions for Central Group Vietnam and Siam Cement Group (SCG), the largest cement company in Thailand.

This meeting is a crucial step in strengthening and expanding the partnership between FPT Digital and Thai businesses in the fields of digital transformation and green transition. Both parties have committed to enhancing connectivity and leveraging each other’s advantages to drive economic development and improve operational efficiency for businesses on both sides.
