How do you assess the awareness of Vietnamese businesses regarding dual transformation? What challenges and advantages do Vietnamese businesses face when implementing this transformation? Which sectors will take the lead in this dual transformation trend?
Dual transformation is still a relatively new concept for Vietnamese businesses. Previously, discussions mainly centered around digital transformation, but now the focus has expanded to include green and sustainable development. The Vietnamese government has committed to achieving net-zero emissions by 2050. Along with this, businesses need to focus on integrating both digital transformation and green transformation, creating a dual transformation. While businesses have a solid understanding of digital transformation, they are only in the early stages when it comes to dual transformation.
When implementing dual transformation, the first challenge for businesses is understanding what dual transformation is, how it relates to their own business, what benefits they will gain from adopting it, what the consequences will be if they don’t, and how to go about implementing dual transformation if they decide to pursue it.
