On October 29, 2021, Hai Phong City’s Department of Science and Technology held a workshop with the theme “Where to begin with digital transformation for businesses” in the form of a direct online combination on the Zoom and Youtube platforms. Mr. Vuong Quan Ngoc – Consulting Director of Technology division of FPT Digital, representative of FPT Corporation attended the seminar and shared about effective digital transformation approaches, implementation and practical cases of success digital transformation for manufacturing businesses.
The workshop was attended by delegates in Hai Phong and Ho Chi Minh City. With representatives from RMIT University, Ho Chi Minh City Computer Association, FPT Corporation, Agribank Hai Phong; representatives from departments, departments and branches; and attracted the attention of 100 manufacturing enterprises in Hai Phong city.
The seminar is one of the activities in the series of events at the thematic online exhibition “Digital transformation in production and business” (taking place from October 27 to November 2). The seminar was organized to answer businesses’ questions about digital transformation in the 4.0 era, including digital transformation solutions, when to start implementing digital transformation for businesses, costs and budget when implementing digital transformation.
During the workshop, the panelists pointed out the core issues that businesses need to understand and prepare before implementing the digital transformation roadmap, including: understanding the digital transformation roadmap framework in the business; Enterprise digital transformation – Enriching digital assets, exploiting digital assets; The more shared data in the common ecosystem, the better mining performance; Digital transformation is not a technology but a change in the perception of business owners; The opportunity to apply digital transformation can be applied to each stage, a small improvement can bring great value; and above all, digital transformation to be successful needs to train qualified human resources.
