We are looking for a Data Governance Specialist to build and run a scalable data governance framework for enterprise data and AI programs. This role ensures data is managed with strong standards for quality, security, compliance, and traceability, enabling reliable analytics and AI outcomes.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities 

  • Design and standardize the Data Governance framework: policies, processes, RACI, operating model.
  • Establish and implement standards for:
  • Data Quality (rules, KPIs, monitoring, continuous improvement) 
  • Business Glossary / Data Definitions (standardized terms and metrics) 
  • Data Catalog & Metadata Management 
  • Data Lineage (end-to-end traceability) 
  • Data Access & Security (classification, role-based access control) 
  • Work closely with Data/AI/IT/Business teams to: 
  • Identify data owners and data stewards 
  • Align data definitions and explainable metrics logic 
  • Ensure governance requirements are embedded into DWH/Data Lake/BI/AI delivery 
  • Set up governance compliance monitoring (audit checklists, periodic reviews, reporting). 
  • Support governance tool implementation when needed (e.g., Collibra, Alation, Microsoft Purview, Atlan). 
  • Drive internal training and communication to improve governance adoption. 

Qualifications 

  • 2–3 years in Data Governance / Data Management / Data Quality / Data Stewardship or similar.
  • Strong understanding of metadata, lineage, master/reference data, data quality, lifecycle management, access control.
  • Experience working with enterprise data platforms: Data Warehouse, Data Lake, BI, and data pipelines.
  • Familiar with governance best practices/standards such as DAMA-DMBOK (or equivalent); security awareness is a plus.
  • Strong stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills; able to write clear policies and process documents.

Nice to Have 

  • Experience with cloud governance implementations (AWS/GCP/Azure) and tools like Microsoft Purview. 
  • Knowledge of privacy/security practices (PII classification, retention, compliance). 
  • Consulting or enterprise delivery experience.

02 Aptitude interview
If the test you’ve done matches our expectation, we’ll invite you to our office for the aptitude interview. You will meet our colleagues from the domain or department that you applied for.
03 HR interview
After the aptitude interview, you will enter the last interview with our HR & operation leaders to test your interaction skill and your suitability to fit in the organization.
